Is there any sign showing that it’s time to replace a new inkcore board? Sure there is. Look at the hourglass, we can see there is only 180 hours left, time to replace a new inkcore board(if your inkcore works fine). Actually we don’t need to replace a whole inkcore, which is costy and unnecessary, if the inkcore works well, the only problem is running out of servce hour, replacing a new inkcore board will be well enough.

So how to replace an inkcore board, firstly, we need to locate the inkcore. Secondly, open up the inkcore and you will find a green board, this is the inkcore board we are looking for. Thirdly, as you can see, the inkcore board is screwed, make sure that you are able to screw it out and in, then we can proceed to buy a new replacement.

I reckon you know the model your Videojet printer, if not, please kindly refer to the plate on your printer, you will see if it’s 1210, 1520, 1610 etc. Then we need to figure out which type of inkcore board you are applying now, you could send us a picture or do it yourself.

It’s not as difficult as you think right, let’s crack on.

My client John asks me to send him another Citornix pump about a week after he received the package. I wonder and ask John to tell me more about the new order, I welcome more pump head orders, but it’s rather odd, as there is a pump head in the last package, why John asks for another one. Then John told me that the pump head he just received works well, on his old Ci1000 printer, but not on the new model he services.

Jonh explains the configuration and connectors for a while, and I realise he is actually looking for a pump head for Citronix 3000/5000. They look very similar, as all pumps look similar to us, but not the same.

Some of you may prefer original new sparts for your CIJ printer, such as the electrovalves, nozzles. If you wonder if we could supply them, yes, we can help with that.

All of our original new parts come with their original packing and user manual. Before delivering the spare parts to you, we will take a picture of the serial number, so that you can be sure that you are getting a real part.

As CIJ original new parts are rather expensive, you may seek to a replacement that costs less, but also with original quality. The second hand(refurbished) part may be your choice then. We supply refurbished pump heads, inkcore, M6 module, main board, printhead from time to time. For these refurbished CIJ printer spare parts, if they are with the serial number on it, we will take a picture of that first, and then a testing video will be sent to you too. But refurbished parts have their own downsides, we have to leave a little ink in it, especially the inkcore, when the part reaches your place, the ink might dry out, thus extra work will be needed.

When printing something on plastic bottles, PE tubes, cables, we usually prefer color pigment which is more adhesive than standard black ink.

Here is the printing effect of our compatible red pigment. It’s made of imported raw material, which is not easy to wipe out and doesn’t come with a strong smell.

Apart from the red pigment, we also have white, yellow and blue colored pigment compatible to Markem Imaje, Linx, Videojet etc. Please let us know on which material you are going to apply the pigment on, then we will recommend the suitable pigment to you.

In some cases, we just don’t know the name of the spare parts, let alone their part number. The part works so well all the time that we don’t even notice it. When we got to replace them, it’s rather difficult to detail what we need.

Dave recently maintenanced his Markem Imaje 9040 thoroughly, he wanted to replace the nozzle, the filters, fan, there is a coupler he also wanted to replace, but difficult to pin-point which coupler he needed, which located near the ENM34410 filter, yellowish. “Can you find that”? asked Dave, “How about send me a picture of the coupler, I will sort that out”, I replied.

When you order the comaptible keyboards, you may find out that the delivery fee costs as much as the keyboard itself(unless you are located in South East Asia, where delivery fee is generally lower). Why, does the supplier want to earn extra from the delivery fee too? Nah, we are not that kind of supplier, the keyboard is light but takes up quite a lot space, especially we can’t fold the connector, which will lead to communication failure between the keyboard & the printer. So we have to apply a flat but large carton to protect the keyboard, then DHL/Fedex/TNT charges us by volume weight instead of gross weight. As you may also find out, delivery fee remains the same no matter you are buying 1 piece or 3 pieces keyboard, that’s because we could pile up the keyboards and settle them within the same carton, where volume weight still exceeds gross weight.
