For every three months, we receive order of Domino filters and 36610 pump head from a regular client. We have been friends for a long time and I know he purchase these compatible Domino continuous inkjet printer spare parts for his workshop, not re-selling to others. Based on the quantity of filter kits, I think he owns 1 to 2 Domino printers, therefore, it’s unusual for one to purchase 36610 pump head every quarter. My client told me he is using 299bk ink, which is high adhesive ink instead of common black ink, and this may be the reason why he needs to purchase 36610 Domino pump head so often.

In that afternoon, I check with our technician whether Domino common and high adhesive ink share the same 36610 pump. Then technician told me it’s not. The pump head with long rotor for high adhesive high is slightly different from inside than the 36610 pump for common ink, and price is lightly higher.

True story, one client contacted me and asked for Domino compatible 37753 ink manifold assembly. Then I quoted a price almost twice as high as he expected. Both of us were astonished.

The first thing come to my mind is we are definitely not on the same page, and the price gap probably is of the sensor.

If you need a 37753 ink manifold or 37754 make up manifold without sensor, you could just say “manifold”; if you are looking for a whole package including sensor, you could call it “manifold assembly”. These two Domino CIJ manifolds share similar appearance and whose item numbers are only with the last number different(37753 ink manifold/37754 make up manifold). It’s a little bit difficult to tell ink manifold and make up manifold apart at first glance, but if we really look hard into them, the difference is obvious.

Say no more and let me crack where lies the difference between Domino ink manifold 37753/make up manifold 37754. It’s the top & bottom knob quantity.

As we can see from the pictures, the make up manifold 37754 with only 2 knobs on top, while the 37753 ink manifold with 3 knobs. For bottom knob quantity, ink manifold 37753 with 5 pieces in total and 37754 make up manifold has merely 4 knobs.

Domino 37753 ink manifold is a commonly use spare part, but do you know there are two versions of 37753 ink manifold of Domino?

This is the new version of compatible Domino 37753 ink manifold, if you look closely, you will notice there is two little pointed horns on top, which is the difference between the old version.
